When the global pandemic hit, and strict lockdowns kept us isolated at home, Cecile D'Ascoli began painting watercolor renderings of lotus seeds, stems, and flowers as a meditative study of inner discovery. It was from these artworks, with their naïve and primitive style, that Creative Director Peter D'Ascoli has created “Escape” – a collection of table linens using hand spun, hand woven cotton and linen-cotton fabrics printed at their atelier.
