Stylised vine leaves in two shades of green were among the most popular decorations for services made of Viennese porcelain around 1800. The ancient symbol of happiness now became a symbol of the faithful bond of love and friendship. In keeping with the spirit of the times, vine leaves can also be found in friendship albums and on greeting cards. The "Schubert" shape, created in 1923, is still a classic of Viennese porcelain with its classic silhouettes and discreet ornamental details.
